Dear Howley families,

I hope you are all keeping well and warm now that the temperature has dropped a fair few degrees!

I am writing to you today to inform you of a change of catering provider. Earlier this year, we were informed by Dudley Council that as from April 2024, they would no longer be offering a catering service to schools.

Once we were aware of this, our Governors and staff team set about the task of finding a new catering company to continue to provide our children and families with the very best options possible. We met with several companies and after much thought and consideration, we decided to move forward with Alliance in Partnership, (AIP). We felt their values best suited Howley as they were clear in their intention to provide our children with nutritious healthy meals and an improved dining experience.

AIP will be starting with us in January and are busy working with our current catering team to ensure their launch is a successful one. To further enhance our lunchtimes, and with thanks to our PTA who are part funding the project, we are having our school hall decorated over Christmas in readiness for the launch.

We are excited about this change and look forward to the children using the salad bar and making the most of the daily fresh bread on offer. Unfortunately, as with all change, there is some reading and possibly form filling to be done, so please read the attached information carefully.  Paper copies will also be coming home this week  so you do not have to print anything, and we ask that you complete and return any necessary forms promptly.

Thank you for your support with this change. Should you have any questions following reading the attached documents, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,

Miss Lewis
