To encourage and support reading within all of our Howley families, the Reading Ambassadors have been working incredibly hard to create book trollies for children and their grown-ups to choose a book to take home to read, enjoy, return ….. and repeat!

The trollies will be located just outside of the main office and under the canopy in the KS1 playground (if the weather allows) every Tuesday and Thursday before and after school.  The trollies in the main entrance will be kept just inside so can be accessed at any other time. Simply choose a book and return it when you have finished it.

The selection of books will be replenished as often as possible so please feel free to browse whenever you can.

If you have any unwanted children’s or grown-up books in good condition that you are happy to donate to school, please could you pop them into the school office or ask your child to bring them to Mrs. Graham in Year 6.  (Please could you be mindful of the content of the grown-up books – just in case they are picked up by younger hands!)
