To complete our learning about holidays in the past in History, we will be holding an on-site seaside themed day on Monday 13th July.

It will consist of sand, water, and seaside themed activities that the children can enjoy.

Please can we ask that you send your child to school in summer clothing on this day but also send spare clothes in their bag in case they enjoy the paddling pool a little too much! The plans for the day will be weather dependent. Please can we also ask that your child brings a water bottle, hat, and sun cream in on this day too.

On the day, an ice cream van will be on site, and the children will have the option to purchase either a Mr Whippy ice cream or ice lolly. Please can you let us know by emailing info@howley.dudley.sch.uk (and marking the subject FAO Mrs Wolstencroft/Mrs Bradley-Seaside Day) if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients (wafer cone/vanilla ice cream/flavoured sauce/ice lolly). The cost is £1.50 and should be given to the class teacher, in a named envelope, before Monday 6th July.
